Communication Skills for Health and Social Care Professionals - July 2012

Aim

To explore how we communicate and how this impacts on the results we get and the impression, negative or positive, we make on those we communicate with. The way we communicate with colleagues can have a great impact on intrinsic motivation and team morale; for patients and their families it can have a great impact on recovery; wellbeing and the lives of carers.

Objectives

By the end of the course participants will understand

This course will help you build evidence towards KSF core dimension 1: Communication, a key aspect of ALL roles in Health and Social Care and yet not given sufficient specific development focus. This dimension underpins all the other dimensions in the KSF.

Who is this for?
